Fabric Recomendations
Fabric Recomendations
Recommended Fabrics
This pattern works best with woven, non-stretch fabrics.
Great choices:
- Quilting cotton
- Cotton poplin
- Linen or linen blends
- Cotton canvas (light–medium weight)
- Cotton twill
For a softer look, choose lighter cottons. For more protection, choose canvas or twill.
Fabrics to Avoid
- Stretch fabrics (jersey, rib knit)
- Very thick upholstery fabrics
- Slippery satins or silks
- Fabrics with heavy pile (velvet, faux fur)
These can distort quilting.
